New Year’s Resolution You Can Keep

Start the year anew by adding back into your routine the nightly saying of prayers.

Here is a simple one to try tonight:

God our Father I come to say,

Thank you for Your Love Today;

Thank You for my family and all

The friends You give to me.  Guard

Me in the dark of night and in the

Morning send your light.

Here is a prayer to try for meals:

             Praise God, from whom all blessings flow;

             Praise Him, all creatures here below;

             Praise Him, above, ye heavenly host;

             Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

             Amen

Here is a prayer to start the day:

Lord, in the morning I start each day,

By taking a moment to bow and pray.

I start with thanks, and then give praise

For all your kind and loving ways.

Cherub Choir will be singing on

February 14th

One of the songs the Cherub Choir likes to sing is the “A – B – C” song.  They would love it if you would sing it with them at home.

A-B-C-D-E-F-G

Jesus died for you and me!

H-I-J-K-L-M-N

Jesus died for sinful men, Amen!

O-P-Q-R-S-T-U

I believe God’s word is true,

U-V-W,

God has promised,

X-Y-Z,

A home eternally!

Check out this neat website!  It has a lot of different children’s songs and the best part is that many of them will play the tune for you! (KIDiddles)

YOU CAN DO IT!!!

Please consider being a substitute teacher for the spring session.  A signup sheet has been placed on the bulletin board in the Parish hall.  If you have any questions, please let us know!    Most of the grades already have co-teachers and there is still a need to have members of the congregation willing to help the Sunday School crew out at times.  Please thoughtfully consider signing up!

The Parish Ed Committee thanks you!
